Job Description
Main responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO the CFO will be responsible for the Administration, Finance, Controlling and Information Systems functions.
The CFO will have to ensure the financial management of the company with the aim of optimising cash flow, working capital and investment activities. He/she will also have to optimise the capital structure for growth and investor return.
Actively working with the Institutional Investor on a development project that, in addition to organic growth, will have growth by external lines as a guideline of the business plan.
The CFO will be an integral part of the Management Team in decisions of a strategic nature and in the achievement of corporate objectives. He/she will also be responsible for presenting the company's economic and financial data to shareholders.
The CFO will also be responsible for the following activities: Ensure the adoption and implementation of a controlling and reporting model for monitoring and analysing business performance in support of corporate strategy
Working closely with the production and sales functions to create a management control model to monitor the performance and industrial and commercial dynamics of the different business units
Define budgeting and forecasting activities, analysing data variations from the budget and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure the preparation of periodic financial statements in accordance with international accounting standards.
Drive the tax strategy, optimising the company's tax positions while ensuring compliance with international tax laws
Planning the company's financial environment by managing the company's treasury, investments and relations with credit institutions
Ensuring the verification and optimisation of the performance of the information system (ERP), ensuring continuity as well as the improvement of business processes
As a business partner, support the management team in the internationalisation strategy of the company.
Support potential M&A projects and Due Diligence activities
The Successful Applicant
Required skills and professional experience:
Previous experience in the role of CFO gained within structured and modernly organised companies
Experience in overseeing a business of a company participated or controlled by a Private Equity
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial modelling and analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all company levels
Strong orientation towards working by objectives and problem solving
High analytical skills combined with a proactive and flexible approach
Fluent knowledge of the English language
